China’s apparent ‘democratic’ leadership involves kicking Chinese people out of their homes with no compensation or alternative living arrangements organized in order to build the Olympic villages. Is it fair to be competing in this country when it is a direct contrast to New Zealand’s fight for a fair society and is it a good look for New Zealand to be associated with a country that doesn’t respect people’s rights when we base our image on living in a fair and liberal society?
